{"id":1196,"date":"2024-06-11T17:15:21","date_gmt":"2024-06-11T16:15:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.borgue.org\/borguecc\/?p=1196"},"modified":"2024-06-11T17:15:23","modified_gmt":"2024-06-11T16:15:23","slug":"school-meals-and-clothing-grants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.borgue.org\/borguecc\/2024\/06\/11\/school-meals-and-clothing-grants\/","title":{"rendered":"School Meals and Clothing Grants"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Free School Meals and School Clothing Grants \u2013 2024\u201325 Academic Year<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"946\" height=\"532\" src=\"https:\/\/www.borgue.org\/borguecc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1197\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.borgue.org\/borguecc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image.png 946w, https:\/\/www.borgue.org\/borguecc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/www.borgue.org\/borguecc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-768x432.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 946px) 100vw, 946px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Assessments for Free School Meals and School Clothing Grants (FSM-SCG) begin next week.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are assessing applications for FSM-SCG and parents\/guardians whose household meets all of the following criteria should begin receiving their SCG payment for their child or children from Monday 10 June:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You are in receipt of means tested Council Tax Reduction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You meet the eligibility criteria (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lnks.gd\/l\/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJidWxsZXRpbl9saW5rX2lkIjoxMDQsInVyaSI6ImJwMjpjbGljayIsInVybCI6Imh0dHBzOi8vd3d3LmR1bWdhbC5nb3YudWsvc2Nob29sbWVhbHMiLCJidWxsZXRpbl9pZCI6IjIwMjQwNjA3Ljk1OTM2NzIxIn0.FAeejXrxRgdT-yjEr1-Uh3wuEblX7EdP96b-KpknHNE\/s\/563580226\/br\/243813956130-l\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">available here<\/a><\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your child was assessed as entitled to Free School Meals and School Clothing Grants for the 2023\u201324 academic year as of 3 June.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your child\u2019s will be attending P1 through S5, but only where their date of birth is after 30 September 2008.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note, we cannot make payments of School Clothing Grants for children moving into S5 or S6 who are born before 1 October 2008 until their school has confirmed their attendance to us after the summer holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you meet the criteria, we will send you notification of the awards that have been made for your child\/children.
