Community Council Elections

The election of Borgue Community Councillors will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, 3rd October in the Borgue Public Hall. You can view the list of candidates in the Notice of Poll document.

• The election will take place on Thursday, 3rd October 2024 in the Borgue Public Hall from 3 to 7 p.m.
• Voting will be by putting an X in up to 11 candidates on the ballot paper.
• As per the Scheme of Establishment for Community Councils, the voting is only in person. No proxy or postal voting.
• The current Community Council is still in place until 2 October 2024.  The new Community Council will take effect at 8am on 4 October 2024.
• The 1^st meeting of the CC will be organised by the Returning Officer and requires 14 days notice after 3 October, as it is an AGM.  We will be in touch with all candidates with the details of the 1^st meetings in the next few weeks.
