D&G Council Local Development Plan Roadshow

Work has started on preparing a new Local Development Plan for Dumfries and Galloway – LDP3.  The first stage in preparing the new plan is the production of an Evidence Report.  To help inform the report we will be visiting those towns and villages with an inset map in the current Local Development Plan during May and June to seek people’s views on the region and where they live.  We will also be providing information on the Local Development Plan process and the issues that are considered in its preparation.

The engagement is taking the form of a roadshow, meaning we can visit more locations than we previously have been able to.  The table below lists those communities we will be visiting along with the date and time we’ll be there as well as where we are planning on parking the car and trailer.  Should any of the dates, times or locations change we will contact the relevant community council to let you know.  Should there be unforeseen circumstances where we are unable to attend we will contact the community council concerned to discuss an alternative arrangement.
