There was a good community turnout for the Borgue Community Council elections on Thursday, 3rd October. 132 members of the community came out to vote for the 13 candidates and the results were:

The eleven candidates with the highest number of votes will form the Borgue Community Council.
The first meeting of the Community Council will be organised by the D&G Council Returning Officer and requires 14 days notice after 3rd October, as it is an AGM. D&G Council will be in touch with all candidates with the details of the first meetings in the next few weeks.
