Storm Floris Warning

An update from SP Energy Networks.

Storm Floris | Getting Prepared
Dear all,
From early Monday morning (8am), Storm Floris is forecast to bring winds of up to 80mph across parts of Scotland. We’ve been closely monitoring the conditions — and we’re already taking action.
Our teams are on standby, with plans in place to respond quickly to any damage across the electricity network. Materials have been prepositioned, logistics are aligned, and our engineers are ready to act. We’re also proactively checking known hotspots to minimise the risk of disruption. While our storm preparedness work puts us in a strong position, we always prepare for the worst — so we’re ready to restore power and support our communities, no matter what Monday brings.
We’ll return with a further update on Monday morning to share the latest forecast, any known impacts, and how our response is shaping up.
If you need to contact us in the meantime, we’re here.
Many thanks
