Volunteers wanted.
As you may be aware we are trying to re establish the Borgue Gala.
This I’ve been told was a hugely popular and a highlight of the Borgue calendar for many years.
We want to bring it back.
We are organising this event with the village hall and community council as it should benefit us all as a community.
Organising a village gala is not a small undertaking. We have a committee that attended the first meeting but it was decided we needed more to be able to make the gala happen.
We have another meeting arranged for the 9th September, 7pm in the village hall. If you feel you can spare a few hours to help organise or would just like to help on the day that would be greatly appreciated. I have had a couple of offers for help on the day but we really need more.
I would also love to hear from anyone from the previous gala committee.
