Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday are opportunities for us all to remember the service and sacrifice of all those who have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life. There will be a short service and wreath laying at Borgue War Memorial on Sunday, 10th November
The first meeting of the new Borgue Community Council members will be on Tuesday, 12th November at 7 p.m. in the Borgue Public Hall. This will be an Annual General Meeting at which the roles of Chair, Secretary and Treasurer will be appointed.
Dumfries and Galloway Council has launched its Budget Consultation 2025/26. The consultation runs for more than five weeks until midday Friday 6 December. There will be drop-in consultation sessions across the region. Our local ones are in Castle Douglas on 19th November and Kirkcudbright on 20th November.
