The Ballad of Wallis Island (12A) Bring a Baby Screening
Tuesday 22 July at 10.30am
The comedy drama in which a lottery winner pays his favourite folk duo to reunite and perform a concert for him on his remote island has quietly become the sleeper hit of 2025. Word-of-mouth on this tender look at loss, memory, new chapters, and the almost mystical effect music has on the human spirit, has been incredible.
The film’s director James Griffiths says theatrical experience is important for comedies like his film: “It’s sort of essential that you share it with a crowd, the sharing of jokes in that setting, it feels like the best place to experience comedy.”
Please note this screening is exclusively for mums, dads, and guardians and their babies. Sorry, but no admittance without a baby! All bookings will be done on the morning of the show. Further showings of the film will be available that same week.
